The Spanish Translation Ministry plays a vital role in making the weekly sermons accessible to non-native English speakers and those who prefer to hear the sermon in their native language, Spanish. This ministry is for you if your heart is to help spread the Gospel to a broader audience.

Opportunities

The Translation Ministry is comprised of individuals who are capable of translating live, in-person sermons, or online sermons from the comfort of their own homes, as well as hosts who assist in welcoming Spanish speakers and providing them with translation devices during our weekend services. Currently, Spanish Translation services are exclusively available at our 11:30am service in Rockaway.

Live Translation: Spanish translators are serving team members who provide instant language conversion during in-person sermons. They use a special microphone to convey the message to non-English speakers, ensuring everyone can participate in the worship experience seamlessly.
E-Serving Opportunity: Online Translation volunteers play a pivotal role in making sermons accessible to a global audience. They translate sermons from English to Spanish from the comfort of their own homes, allowing people worldwide to engage with the teachings and messages of the church.
Translation Hosts: Spanish Translation Hosts are the friendly faces who extend a warm welcome to Spanish-speaking attendees at our weekend services. They assist with the distribution of translation devices, ensuring that everyone feels at home and can fully participate in the worship experience. These hosts help bridge language gaps and create a welcoming atmosphere.

Q. What Would I Be Doing?

When you serve as a Spanish Translator in this ministry, here's what you can expect:

1. Sermon Notes: You will receive sermon notes at least 48 hours in advance for each sermon you are assigned to translate.

2. Translation Kit: If you are translating for CC Online, you will receive a Spanish Translation kit, allowing you to record your translation from the comfort of your own home.

3. In-Person Experience: During in-person services, you will be speaking your translation in real-time into a special microphone that can be heard by those wearing translation devices.

Q. Are there auditions for Spanish Translators?

Yes! Auditions are required for all Spanish Translators to ensure the highest quality of translation.

Q. How often will I serve?

You will serve as a translator only 1-2 times per month, allowing for flexibility in your commitment.
