We are the non-denominational spiritual home to thousands of diverse families, who seek personal growth, practical life lessons, and the salvation that comes from Jesus Christ.
In service to our community, we offer worship services, discipleship classes, various activities within our Small Groups, and a wide selection of ministries at our New Jersey locations in Montclair and Rockaway.
In 1986, founding pastors Drs. David and Marlinda Ireland, and six other Christ-led believers, teamed up to do God's work. Our congregation grew rapidly … our vision expanded.
We moved from one rented facility to another, until in 1994 when we acquired our East Campus, a Romanesque cathedral in Montclair, NJ. Membership increased steadily and Christ Church added a second location—the West Campus—our Rockaway, NJ home, which opened for worship in 2009.
