Beginning Monday, May 9 and running through Sunday, May 15, we’re setting aside the entire week to serve others through simple acts of love, compassion and kindness. We would love for you to join us by selecting one day during this same week to do your act of kindness for someone. As a church, our goal is to have everyone connected to our Christ Church family participate by Sunday, May 15, 2022—the day we’re calling Others’ Day.
Simple acts that focus on others can come in all forms—large and small. How you choose to perform yours is entirely up to you! It can be as simple as picking up the coffee tab for a random person, dropping a bit of change in the cup of the homeless person along the street or taking a friend out to lunch—just because they’re your friend.
A simple act of compassion from one person creates a ripple effect that impacts the lives of individuals and makes a difference in communities.
Sometimes it's the smallest act that makes the biggest impact; something as simple as saying “please” or “thank you” can turn someone's day around. Don't miss this opportunity to help us model Christ in a tangible way through these random acts of kindness for others!
Our heart is that your Others’ Day will spark a habit of you being intentional about serving others in the way that Jesus modeled. So why not join a cause where you can continually model God’s love through your service. Below are just a few worthy causes that you can get involved in or get some ideas from; the most important thing is to be active and serve OTHERS!
