How do you answer tough questions about the Christian faith without sounding defensive, narrow-minded, illogical, or out of touch? Defending Your Faith is a practical, interactive course in conversational apologetics. Conversational apologetics is a reasoned defense or answer to tough questions you give in a conversation. This course will equip you with knowledge, useful tools, and practical skills to articulate, defend, and share your faith with competence and confidence.
Defending Your Faith is a 10-week course that meets on Wednesday evenings at 7:15-8:30PM at both the East and West Campus. The course will run from Wednesday, February 6 through Wednesday, April 10, 2019. In case of inclement weather, we may have to extend the course a few more weeks due to class cancellations.
The principal presenters are Pastor David Ireland, Ph.D. (West Campus), Pastor Jack Redmond, M.Ed., M.Div. (East & West Campus), Pastor Lionel King, M.Div. (East Campus), and select professors from Alliance Theological Seminary (ATS) including the dean of the seminary, Dr. Ron Walborn (East & West Campus).
